The Great American Cross Country Festival is hosted by the National Scholastic Athletic Foundation which is the same organization that hosts the annual high school indoor and outdoor national championship meets. NSAF's signature cross country meet strives to pin the best athletes and teams across the eastern seaboard against one another in one of the largest and most elite meets in the United States. The meet is hosted at the WakeMed Soccer park located in Cary, North Carolina.
